Picture this...
It's a summer night, the air is warm. It's raining, not pouring, just raining lightly. You're sitting on the steps of your front porch, absorbing the calm and peacefulness you feel around you. There is not a sound in the air. No one is out, the streets are desolate and quiet. All that is heard is the soothing sound of the rain as it hits the concrete and cement. You are partially sheltered, only your bare arms and legs are exposed. But you welcome the gentle rain drops as they fall on your bare skin. It feels pleasant. You stare down at your arms, fascinated by the luminous glow which is being emitted from the light of the lampost. Now your arms are feeling itchy. You don't know for sure whether it's the rain drops, or the mosquitos. No, not mosquitos! Those pesky, annoying, little bloodsuckers. They attack without warning, they come at you like a gang of piranhas. But you just rub your arms and continue to enjoy this night, savouring it moment by moment. Imagining what it would be like to run out and dance in the summer rain at that very instant. Then you close your eyes--and *POOF!* it's the following day. All that happened the previous night went by so quickly, it felt like a dream, but it wasn't. You have proof. Look at your arms, little red bumps have appeared.
